Bruce Kietzmann Chairman
Bruce Kietzmann grew up on the South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal in the late 1970’s and enrolled in the South African Navy.
Bruce lived in France delivering yachts between the Mediterranean and the West Indies for a period before opting for a career change from the sea to the African bush where he operated tours and safaris throughout Southern Africa, and later as a resident and professional guide in Botswana specialising in walking safaris by mode of a dugout, called a ‘mokoro’ punted with a long pole and gratitude.
He is interested in identifying chemical signals found to be common in both plants and humans.
Bruce has resided in Plettenberg Bay since 2002 working various community projects including the wildlife industry in guiding and educating the conservation of our natural environment.
Bruce is the founding member of The Green Ticket.org

Albert Ackhurst Scientific Advisor
Albert holds both BSc Hons. (Botany) and BCom Hons. (Human Capital) degrees. He is also a terrestrial and marine survival expert and as a professional conservationist he has worked extensively throughout southern Africa.
Over the last eight years Albert’s focus have shifted towards landscape wide conservation and natural resource planning, climate change issues and human capital technical capacity across a spectrum of regional trans-boundary localities working for and with local authorities, International and provincial conservation and development institutions.
With a special focus on local community participation and development he has realized a sustainable indigenous forest economy based on forest rehabilitation, medicinal plants and invasive vegetation management. Albert has also presented sustainable re-aforestation plans to parliament which is intended to lead to further development and discourse with national institutions. Albert currently grows forest and soil carbon in an attempt to help save the world!

Debbie Fermor Secretary
Debbie is a co-owner and director of Ingwe Forest Adventures. She is an accomplished entrepreneur boasting extensive experience in the development of youth, primarily in the discipline of environmental life skills and marine mammal education. Her career includes sales and marketing in the tourism industry, management in the catering industry, co-ordination of development projects for previously disadvantaged individuals incorporating arts, crafts and similar creative elements into the experience, to teaching horse riding and facilitating riding camps.
A great love of the outdoors and looking at ways to conserve our natural environment led to an outdoor adventure career providing activities for both the youth and adult market.
Her unwavering belief in the potential of people to face and overcome challenging obstacles has culminated in her taking on the challenge of developing Ingwe into a venue renowned for adventures that produce real learning results for both youths and adults.
